Mission

At EmpowerEd Consulting & Advocacy, our mission is to empower and support families of children with disabilities through compassionate advocacy, community connection, and expert guidance. As both parents and professionals, we understand the challenges families face — and we're here to help bridge the gap between home, school, and services. We provide individualized special education advocacy, connect families with vital community resources, and help them navigate the complex world of disability supports. With lived experience and professional insight, we are dedicated to ensuring every child receives the opportunities, respect, and education they deserve.

Vision

We envision a future where every child with a disability—regardless of background or zip code—has access to an inclusive, equitable education and the resources they need to thrive. Through collaborative advocacy, family empowerment, and trusted community partnerships, we aim to build communities where families are informed, schools are accountable, and all abilities are valued.

What Makes EmpowerEd Different?

Family Centered

We focus on your child and your whole family’s needs, not just what’s written in the IEP.

Independent

We don’t answer to the school district or the state — our loyalty is 100% to you.

Experienced Across Both Sides

As both a parent of a child with special needs and a former teacher, we understand the system from the inside out.

Community-Focused

We bridge school advocacy with real-life resources — because education doesn't stop at the school doors.

Collaborative, Not Combative

We advocate with firmness and respect, helping families and schools work together toward solutions that last.

Relentless, Not Reactive

We plan ahead, ask the hard questions, and don’t back down — so you don’t have to go it alone.
